Casings and Screens are costly.

Installation
will be substantially cost effective with TEXMO well casing and
ribbed screens when compared with conventional mild steel casing
and screens.

entrance resistance due to vertical slot opening.

horizontal slot openings of TEXMO casing, reduce the entrance
resistance and the collapse resistance of the screen is
increased.

than 50% of the slot opening is obstructed by filtering media
(Gravel Pack) hence low permeability.

The ribs
on the screen keep the filtering media (Gravel Pack) 2mm away
from the slot opening. This increases the permeability of TEXMO
ribbed screens.

local action and corrosive soil nature, the life of the tube
wells is as low as two years only.

TEXMO
well casing and ribbed screens are manufactured out of quality
PVC compound and thus are totally unaffected by corrosion as PVC
being an inert material.

Slot
opening gets enlarged and silting starts due to erosion in the
screens.

Slot openings
do not offer any resistance to flow as they are not subjected to
erosion.

Metal
casing and screens are heavy thus making installation cumbersome
and tedious.

The
specific gravity of PVC being 1.4 TEXMO well casing and ribbed
screens weigh only 1/5th of the steel casing and screens. This
makes it easier to handle and install.

Metal
casings require special equipments like welding sets and
generating sets for assembly and erection.
|
No
special equipments are required to assemble and install TEXMO
well casing and ribbed screens as they are manufactured with
screwed socket and spigot ends with trapezoidal threads.

Screen
slot widths cannot be made to suit Aquifer Sieve analysis for
proper design of the well. Hence silting of the well cannot be
avoided.

TEXMO
ribbed screens are manufactured with slot widths ranging from 0.2
mm to 3 mm to suit the Aquifer Sieve analysis which helps the
engineers to design the well to give better life and yield.
